Panarea - Aeolian Archipelago

Panarea - Aeolian Archipelago

Panarea is one of the main yachting destinations of the Aeolian archipelago, as well as an exclusive destination that attracts many celebrities every year. At the same time, it is also a quiet place where you can spend hours of relaxation in solitude.

It is the smallest of the Aeolian Islands (Alicudi, Filicudi, Lipari, Salina, Stromboli and Vulcano). It is known for the lively nightlife of San Pietro marina (which is also the starting point of the panoramic trail that leads to the peaks of the island) and for the magnificent clear waters, popular with snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, dotted with rock formations formed by volcanic eruptions, boulders and coral reefs teeming with interesting marine life.

The best places to explore the deep sea of Panarea are Scoglio Spinazzola, Peschiera Sommersa, Scoglio di Pietra Nave, the Lisca Bianca shipwreck (Relitto di Lisca Bianca) and the group of plates called Le Formiche di Panarea, the “ants of Panarea”.
